Why is my laptop freezing and making a buzzing sound?

I've been experiencing issues with my laptop freezing and producing a strange buzzing sound, especially when I'm watching videos or playing games. This problem has been going on for a bit, but it worsened after my dad accidentally left my laptop outside in the car for a few hours in the cold. I've only had this laptop for a few months. If it helps, I can share a video of the sound or answer any questions. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

If the buzzing is coming from the speakers, it might be due to audio glitches when your CPU freezes up. That usually happens when the system is overloaded or has performance issues. The buffering icon on your screen suggests the CPU might be locking up. You could try closing some background applications to see if that helps!

If it's not the speakers, make sure your drivers are up to date. Sometimes outdated drivers can cause audio issues.

I’ll check the drivers! I appreciate the tips.

It could be that one of the fans is damaged or bent. Sometimes this might happen if the laptop gets really cold. You might want to check if the fans are still working properly and aren't blocked or misaligned.
