I've been experiencing significant lag on my laptop whenever I open any game. Here's some info about my system's memory usage: my physical memory usage is between 43% and 50% with about 8.95 GB available out of a total of 15.9 GB. For virtual memory, I'm seeing an average usage of around 20% to 40% with 10.0 GB available out of 16.9 GB total. However, my system's working set usage spikes up to 99%, leaving me with just 141 MB available, which makes me think something might be going wrong when trying to run games. Can anyone help me figure this out?

Looks like your laptop might be pretty old for gaming. You mentioned the CPU is one of the lowest-end models from 10 years ago, which can drastically limit performance. That said, if it was handling games well before and just started lagging recently, it might be worth checking for any background processes that could be eating up resources.
