I've noticed that my 2019 MacBook Pro, which usually charges with an 87W USB-C power adapter, is now only charging at 60W. I'm using the original Apple power adapter and cable that was included with my laptop, and everything was fine until recently. I ran some diagnostics and it didn't detect any problems. When I looked in the System Information, it shows that the adapter is recognized at 60W. Can anyone help me figure out why this is happening or how I can fix it?

Some USB-C cables only support up to 60W. For instance, the 1m USB-C cable that comes with iPhones and iPads maxes out at that wattage. If you're using one of those, that could be your issue. Make sure to get a cable that's rated for 100W or more. It's also possible that your original cable might be damaged and limiting the wattage.
How many charge cycles are on your battery? Also, just a side note: charging slower can actually prolong your battery's lifespan, if you're interested in that.
I’ve got about 637 cycles on it. I know that charging slowly is easier on the battery, but I need to keep it charged while gaming without it draining!
That could be it! But it's strange that both my cables stopped working at once. Maybe I'm just really unlucky.
