I've recently noticed that my main monitor has started flickering and dimming unexpectedly. It's not an OLED display, so I'm not sure what's causing the issue. I'm using an AMD GPU and CPU, and I'm looking for any troubleshooting advice to fix this.

Have you tried the classic unplug and replug? It sounds silly, but disconnecting the monitor’s power cable and then plugging it back in can sometimes work miracles. If that doesn't fix it, you should also try unplugging the video cable and reconnecting it at both ends. I've seen flickering issues related to faulty connections, especially with VGA cables, although it can happen with others too.
It’s gotten worse on my end. Now it’s going completely black and sometimes jumps to static screens. I can’t afford to replace it if it’s broken!
