Why is my monitor showing no signal after installing the GPU?

I built my PC and initially used the HDMI connection from my monitor to the motherboard to install Windows. Now that I've plugged in my GPU, it powers on and the monitor recognizes that it's connected, but I'm still getting a 'no signal' message. I've tried all the fixes I found on YouTube, but nothing seems to work. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do next?

Make sure you've installed the correct drivers for your graphics card. You can check the Device Manager to see if the GPU is recognized. If you can only connect the monitor to the motherboard, you might need to switch back to that temporarily to install the drivers from the GPU manufacturer.

Can I check Device Manager with the HDMI plugged into the motherboard since that's my only option at the moment?

Double-check that the power connectors for your GPU are properly plugged in. Sometimes, if they're not connected well, the GPU won't function as expected, leading to a lack of signal on the monitor. It's a common oversight, so it's worth verifying!

Yes, they are all connected.
