Why is my motherboard showing as incompatible with the CPU?

I'm trying to build my PC using a guide from 'PC Builder' where he matches these components together. However, when I'm using the part-chooser tool, it's telling me that the motherboard and CPU aren't compatible. You can check out my build here: [part-chooser link](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/RZHLKq) and here's the guide I followed from 11:00 to 15:40: [YouTube link](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lT_-AbJz__w&t=595s). Can anyone shed some light on this?

It's actually compatible. You might just need to do a BIOS update to get them to work together properly.

Definitely check the details. The part-chooser seems to be flagging it, but it’s likely because it needs a BIOS update. Just verify what BIOS version it ships with; if it requires an update, it’s pretty simple. Also, your motherboard supports BIOS flashback, which means you can update it using a USB drive even without a CPU installed.
