Why is my new iPhone 14 overheating?

I recently bought an iPhone 14 about a month ago and I'm using the original charger that came with it. The battery health shows 100%, and I'm not overcharging or using it while it's charging—it's always below 80% when I do. However, it's been overheating since the first day! This doesn't seem right for a new phone. Is there anything I can do to fix this, or should I reach out to Apple for support?

First, try syncing all your data to iCloud. Go to your iCloud settings and turn on everything you need. Backup WhatsApp if you use it. After that, go to Settings, then 'About', and choose 'Transfer and Reset' to erase everything. When you set it up again, don't restore from a backup—just select 'do not transfer data'. This way, your phone will feel fresh, and it might fix any software issues causing the overheating. You can re-download your apps later from the App Store.

Just a heads up, though. They usually prefer you restore to factory settings using a computer instead of just erasing content. Erasing doesn't change the software, so if it's a software glitch, a proper restore is the way to go!
