I recently bought a Vivobook Go 15 (model L510K), and it's been performing really poorly. Running just two tabs, like Reddit and the product listing for my laptop, causes everything to freeze. My CPU usage spikes to around 90%, and memory usage stays above 85%. Even after turning off background apps and enabling the 'inactive tabs' feature, it feels like I'm fighting to keep it running smoothly. Since I have only 4GB of RAM, I suspect that's a big part of the problem. Is upgrading RAM the only solution? Also, I've disabled most of my extensions, and according to Chrome's task manager, the browser itself is using the most resources. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Having only 4GB of RAM is quite limiting, especially since that's the minimum for Windows 11, and Chrome is known for being a heavy memory user. Try enabling the 'Memory Saver' feature in Chrome settings or consider switching to a less demanding browser. Your laptop features a low-end CPU (Celeron N4500), so seeing spikes in usage isn't surprising. Just know that if you're looking for smoother performance, consider a different browser that uses less CPU.

Thanks for the tip! Do you think adding more RAM would really make a difference, or is the CPU the main issue here?
