Hey everyone! I recently bought a 2TB Kingston SSD during Black Friday and had it set up with some games on Steam. Everything seemed fine until one day I opened Steam and noticed that my games were missing. Upon checking, I found that the SSD was showing as 'Unallocated' in Disk Management, while my other drives were working fine. This has now happened multiple times, and I'm starting to wonder what's going on. Could it be overheating, a faulty slot on my motherboard, or even a bad SSD?

Make sure the SSD is properly seated in the motherboard slot. If that's good, it might be worth trying another slot if you can. But if the problem persists, it could just be a faulty SSD.

I only have one NVME2 slot on my MSI A520M motherboard, and I made sure to reinsert the SSD properly the first time it happened. Do you think the motherboard being on the cheaper side could be the issue?
