Why is My New Windows 11 Build Running So Slowly?

I just completed building my new PC and decided to run Windows 11 for the first time. However, I'm experiencing some serious lag. For instance, when I click the Start button, it takes about 10-15 seconds for the menu to appear. Logging into my account takes nearly 2-3 minutes. Even switching tabs in my web browser can take up to 30 seconds, and some of my startup programs take about 15-20 minutes to load. I'm really puzzled about what might be causing these delays. Here's my parts list for reference: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/bnxkmC. I don't have the Intel 670p installed yet, but everything else is set up correctly.

You might want to consider reinstalling Windows. I had a similar issue once where a bent pin in the CPU socket caused everything to run slow. Just a thought!

I'll definitely consider that. Thanks for the suggestion!

Have you checked the temperature of your components? Overheating could cause performance issues. If the CPU or motherboard are too hot, that could definitely slow things down.

The motherboard is at 27°C and the CPU is holding steady at 30°C, so it seems fine.
