I bought my first PC in February 2024 and it was working great for games and FL Studio. However, after adding more games, apps, and plugins throughout the year, its performance has really dropped. Now, even low-demand games like WWE 2K25 are stuttering. I've updated my Nvidia graphics card and Windows, but I've tried many settings without any improvement. I'm considering a factory reset but would prefer to avoid it if possible. Any ideas on what could be causing the lag and how to improve performance?

Before resetting, make sure to check your device specs. Sometimes an upgrade to RAM or a better cooling system can make a big difference in performance without starting from scratch. If you're low on RAM that could be causing your games to stutter!
Hey there! It sounds like your system might be overloaded with background processes or settings that are affecting performance. A good first step is to disable unnecessary startup programs and clear out anything you don't use. You might also want to check your task manager to see if some apps are using too much CPU or memory. That could help a lot!
Thanks for the advice! I've got a lot of stuff running at startup. I’ll try turning some of that off and see if it helps.
