Why is my PC not starting up properly after installing a new GPU and PSU?

I'm working on my first PC mod, and I'm having some trouble. I've recently installed a new GPU (an MSI GeForce RTX 4060) and a Corsair CX550 PSU. However, when I try to turn on the PC, the power button just flashes orange. I've also tried starting it up without the GPU connected to see if that was causing the issue, but I got the same orange flash. Additionally, I've got a leftover cable from the old PSU that I'm unsure what to do with. Any help would be appreciated! Here's a link to an image for reference: https://imgur.com/a/hb3sFX2

Ensure your power supply cables are all connected properly and tight. Also, did you check if the power draw is within limits for your components? A 550W PSU should be good for your setup, but it's worth double-checking.

From what you've shared, your RTX 4060 uses about 115W, so your power supply should behave just fine. Just ensure all connections are snug, especially the GPU and motherboard power connectors.

Everything seems fine, but have you tried using just one stick of RAM? Sometimes that can help with startup issues.

Just to be safe, make sure you didn't mix and match any cables from the old PSU with the new one. That can cause some serious issues!

Nope, I only used the cables that came with the new PSU.

Could you share the make and model of your components? That might help pinpoint the issue!

Sure! The base PC is a Dell Inspiron 5675. The new GPU is an MSI GeForce RTX 4060, and the PSU is a Corsair CX550. It also has a 1TB SSD and some extra RAM.
