I'm experiencing a frustrating issue with my PC where both of my monitors go black at random times, whether I'm gaming or just on the desktop. One monitor is an ultrawide 3440x1440 connected via DisplayPort, and the other is a 1920x1080 connected through HDMI. While the monitors go dark, audio—like Discord—keeps playing, and the only way to get the screens back is to restart the computer. I've checked the Event Viewer but found no errors, and the shortcut to reset the graphics driver doesn't work. I also recently did a clean installation of my graphics drivers to resolve a different issue. My BIOS is updated, and all settings related to the image are turned off. Testing older driver versions didn't change anything either. Everything seems fine during stress tests. What could be causing this black screen issue, and how can I fix it?

I had a similar issue where my screen would randomly blank out, but the system was still active in the background. It turned out to be a combination of unstable GPU drivers and my RAM settings (XMP). Even though stress tests didn’t show problems, it crashed during everyday use. I'd recommend trying to disable XMP or EXPO settings, running a clean reinstall with DDU in safe mode, and checking the power limits or stability of your PSU. That worked for me!

I adjusted my RAM MHz from 6000 to 5600 because it was crashing a lot, and it did help a bit. Someone suggested lowering the MHz a few months back. I might try fully disabling XMP to see if that fixes it more.
