Why is my PC showing a DDR light and no display?

I recently put together my first PC, and at first, it powered on without any problems (without a monitor attached). But now that I've connected a monitor, I turned it on again, and the CPU light lit up briefly before going out, followed by the DDR light turning on. I'm not getting any image on the screen. What could be the issue?

Could be an issue with compatibility or a faulty motherboard. Check to ensure that your RAM is compatible with your motherboard. Also, ensure all connections are secure, especially the CPU power connectors.

It sounds like your RAM might not be seated correctly or could be faulty. Try reseating your RAM sticks—take them out and put them back in securely. If that doesn’t work, testing with just one stick of RAM at a time can help identify if one of them is causing the issue.
