Hey everyone! I built my PC almost a year ago and it's been running flawlessly until today. While I was playing Cyberpunk, my PC suddenly shut down. After I tried to power it back on, it turned off again shortly after booting. I think the problem might stem from my AIO pump since I noticed a CPU cooling error in the BIOS, where the CPU temperature reached over 100°C. Strangely, the AIO fans seem to be fine, but the radiator stays cool to the touch. My question is: does that sound like a reasonable conclusion? How can I test if the AIO pump is functioning properly? I believe the AIO is still under warranty, but I want to be certain this is the issue before I send it in for repair or replacement. I checked the BIOS again, and while the pump is showing 230 RPM, the temp climbs quickly to 100°C before the PC shuts off.

How old is your AIO? They typically come with a 2-3 year warranty because it's not a question of if it fails but when. The manufacturers know this and usually handle replacements. Just make sure to check that it’s still under warranty before sending it in. If it’s running at 230 RPM in BIOS, it should be cooling, but the high temp indicates something’s definitely off.
Yeah, AIO coolers can get clogged with bacteria and that can cause issues. If your CPU is running really hot, you might want to consider getting a new pump or trying to clean the AIO. Just drain it, flush it out, and add some distilled water along with a biocide to keep bacteria from growing. If it’s a Ryzen 5 7600X like you said, a tower air cooler could have been a better option for aesthetics, plus they tend to be more reliable than AIOs.
