Why Is My PC Shutting Down When Playing Heavy Games?

I've been experiencing an issue where my computer shuts down unexpectedly when I try to run demanding games like Crimson Desert. Everything runs smoothly with lighter games like League and FC26, but as soon as I start a heavy game, the system just powers off without any warnings or error messages. My GPU temperature is around 70°C and my CPU is at 50°C, so I don't think overheating is the problem. My RAM usage averages at 70%, and I'm running the game off an SSD. I recently formatted my PC and ran a memory test that came back fine. I'm using a B450m motherboard, RX 7600 GPU, Ryzen 5 4500 CPU, and 16GB of 3200MHz single-channel XPG RAM with a 650W 80 Plus Bronze power supply. Any insights or tips would be greatly appreciated!

It sounds like your power supply might be failing. If it’s struggling to provide enough power for heavier games, that could cause your PC to shut down. This is a pretty common issue with older or lower-quality PSUs, especially if they’re lying about their output capacity. You might want to check the model and consider upgrading if necessary.

I just bought it 4 months ago, so I hope it’s not that!
