Why is my PC so slow at downloading and streaming compared to other devices?

I'm having a major issue with my PC's download and streaming speeds. I have a CyberPowerPC - Gamer Master Gaming Desktop with an AMD Ryzen 5 5500, 16GB of memory, and an Intel Arc A580 GPU. My little sister has the same specs and her download speed is around 250 Mbps, while mine barely hits 10 Mbps! We're both connected wirelessly, but she's a bit closer to the router. When I'm playing CSGO, my ping is through the roof at around 900, yet when I plug in my Xbox S, I get a ping of around 20. I'm pretty sure the issue lies within my PC rather than my WiFi. Any suggestions would be hugely appreciated!

One thing to check is whether you're connected to the 5GHz band of your router or the slower 2.4GHz band. If you’re sure you're on the right network, maybe try forgetting the connection on your PC and then reconnecting. Also, if you’re not in sight of the router, there could be interference or dead zones affecting your signal. A wired connection is usually best if that's an option for you, but these steps could help identify the issue.

First off, are you connected to the network wirelessly or via Ethernet? A direct connection typically gives better performance. If you're on WiFi, it might help to do a speed test to see what speeds you're actually getting on your PC compared to your sister’s.

I'm on WiFi like she is. I did a speed test and got 27 Mbps. Do you think I should try using an Ethernet cable instead?
