Why is my PC struggling to hit more than 60 FPS?

Hey everyone! I've been having some performance issues with my PC and can't figure out what's going on. Here are my specs:

- Intel i9-9900 (3.60GHz)
- 32GB RAM (2x16GB @ 3200MHz)
- AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT
- SSD storage

With these specs, I expected to run games at high FPS without a problem, but I often find myself stuck at 60 FPS or less. I've tried adjusting some settings and checking drivers, but technology isn't my strong suit, so I might be overlooking something simple. Can anyone help me figure out what's causing this or what I should check?

Your monitor might be set to the wrong refresh rate. Make sure it's running at the maximum 144Hz if that's what you have. What monitor are you using?

It sounds like you might have your FPS capped somewhere. Check if it's limited by your monitor's refresh rate, your in-game settings, or the GPU settings. What make and model is your monitor?
