I recently built a PC that powers on and goes through the standard debug light sequence, but it skips the RAM indicator and gets stuck on the boot light. This boot light points to the SSD. I tried unplugging all drives except for the OS drive, but the issue persisted. I even unplugged the OS drive entirely, yet the same debug light remains illuminated. Essentially, the motherboard shows the broken SSD light even when there's no SSD connected. I'm looking for any suggestions or solutions since I'm not sure what else to try. So far, I've reset the CMOS, reseated all the cables connected to the drives, and reseated the RAM.

It's a pretty frustrating situation! If your system isn't giving a POST, it usually indicates something is off with the hardware. Since you've already reseated the RAM and checked connections, I recommend trying different RAM slots or even using just one stick of RAM if you have multiple. Also, double-check the motherboard for any short circuits or misalignments with the case. Sometimes, it’s the tiniest issue that causes these problems!
Have you tried booting with just the bare minimum hardware? Disconnect everything except the CPU, one stick of RAM, and the onboard graphics (if your CPU supports it). This way, you can rule out other components. If it still doesn't work, there might be an issue with either the motherboard or CPU. It's a confusing problem, but narrowing it down is key!
