Hey everyone,
I'm a bit puzzled with my hardware setup. According to the AMD Adrenalin software, my motherboard supports PCI Express 5.0, but it seems like the current setting is stuck at PCI Express 3.0 x16. I'm using an Asus Prime B550M-K motherboard along with an RX 9070 graphics card. Is this normal or should I be concerned? Would appreciate any insights!

It’s not unusual to see that. Even if your motherboard supports PCI Express 5.0, it doesn’t necessarily mean that the slot is using it at full speed. If your graphics card or other components don’t require PCIe 5.0, it’ll likely just run at PCIe 3.0. But to be safe, make sure that you have the latest BIOS updates. Sometimes, that can unlock better performance options!

Got it, thanks for clarifying! I’ll check for updates.
