I've been having some pretty frustrating WiFi issues on my PC recently. Ever since we got a new router a few days ago, the connection has been particularly weak on my machine, while all the other devices in the house seem to be working just fine. I've already reset my network settings and run scans, but nothing seems to help. I also saw a report about a scanning attack on our WiFi, but blocking or unblocking any suspicious activity hasn't changed anything. I'm feeling really stuck here since it's just my PC that's acting up and not my family members' phones or computers. If anyone has any thoughts or advice, I'm all ears!

First off, you should check if your PC is connecting on the 2.4GHz or 5GHz band of your new router. Sometimes, older PCs have trouble with the 5GHz band. Also, take a look at the signal strength on your PC - anywhere between 1 and 3 bars might indicate a weak connection. Running a speed test can also help, but if websites won’t load, that’s a red flag. Lastly, double-check your internet package with your ISP. If it’s a budget package, that could be affecting your speed too. Let me know what you find!
I checked, and it shows both 2.4 and 5G bands available. The signal strength is usually about 1 bar. I haven’t run a speed test because I can’t access those sites at the moment, but I think my package is unlimited. I’ve attached a photo of the router’s info, just in case that helps!
