I've been experiencing a significant slowdown in my internet speed on my PC. Typically, it would take about 14 minutes to download a 1 GB file, but now it's saying it will take 17 minutes to download just 9 MB. I'm wondering what might be causing this issue. Is it my router that's the problem, or could it be my WiFi USB stick acting up?

Have you tried turning everything off and on again? That can sometimes do wonders for slow connections.
Just a thought: if you're on cable internet, you might notice slowness during peak hours, like weekends when everyone's online. I switched to fiber, and it's been fantastic for me!
Make sure nothing else on your WiFi is hogging the bandwidth. If someone else is downloading or uploading a big file, it can slow things down for you.
Try restarting your computer and router first. Many times that can fix random slowness issues.
It could be the server you're trying to download from. Sometimes they can throttle your speed if too many people are using it at once. Try downloading from a different source or run a speed test to see what you're actually getting.
I’ll give that a shot and see if it helps!
