I've noticed that my computer only utilizes half of the available memory when I run standard Windows, but it works perfectly with Windows Server. Unfortunately, I don't have a license for Windows Server, and they can get pretty pricey. Is there a way to achieve the same hardware compatibility on Windows Pro for Workstations?

Have you checked your BIOS settings on the Supermicro board? If it shows the full RAM capacity there, then it seems like a software issue rather than a hardware one. What about other operating systems—does all the RAM work in Ubuntu or just with Windows Server?
Don’t forget to check if you’ve accidentally set a maximum memory limit in your system configuration. You can find this under ‘msconfig’ in the advanced boot options. It's an easy adjustment that could resolve your issue!
You mentioned you're using 64-bit Windows, which should allow you to access all your RAM. Just making sure—I assume you've ruled out the possibility of running a 32-bit version, since that could limit you to about 4GB.
To help troubleshoot, can you tell us what versions of Windows you're using? For example, are you on Windows 10 or 11? And which versions of Windows Server have you tested? Also, what kind of setup do you have? Is it a pre-built system or something custom? We need details like your motherboard and processor to assist better!
