Why is my RAM running at 4800MHz instead of 6000MHz?

I'm having an issue with my RAM speed. I have EXPO enabled, but when I boot into Windows, it shows I'm only getting 4800MHz instead of the 6000MHz that I'm supposed to have. Can anyone help me figure out what's going on?

You might want to check with CPU-Z. Go to the Memory tab and see what the DRAM frequency shows. Remember that DDR means double data rate, so if it says 3000MHz, that should actually be showing as 6000MHz when doubled. If it’s not matching up, could you list your CPU, RAM, and motherboard specs?

I already have CPU-Z. It shows the DRAM frequency fluctuating around 3000MHz. Is that normal? My setup is an Asus Tuf Gaming B850-Plus Wifi, AMD Ryzen 9800x3d, and G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo RGB 32 GB (2x16) DDR5-6000 CL30.

Have you tried updating your BIOS? That can sometimes help with RAM speed issues. Just a thought!

Yeah, I updated it before enabling EXPO.
