Why is my RAM usage so high on Windows 11?

Hey everyone! I just bought my new PC two weeks ago, and I'm noticing that my RAM usage seems a bit off. I did some research and found out that Windows 11 tends to keep frequently used applications in RAM, which might explain the high usage. Can anyone confirm if this is normal? I've attached some images of my task manager after a restart when no programs were running. Would love to get your thoughts! Thanks!

That level of RAM usage is typical. Just out of curiosity, how much RAM does your PC have?

I have 32GB of RAM.

It's totally normal for Windows 11 to use more RAM like that. The operating system is designed to keep commonly used applications ready to go for faster access. If you want to free some memory, tools like Wintoys can help you manage it better. Otherwise, it sounds like your system is doing what it’s supposed to!
