Hey guys, I've been facing a weird issue with my GPU, the Gigabyte RTX 4060 Ti Aero OC 16GB. After a cold boot, it doesn't display anything on the screen initially; I usually need to restart my PC about 3 to 5 times before it gets detected. Once it finally appears, everything runs smoothly in Windows until I turn off my PC for a while, at which point the problem comes back. Here's the rundown of my build: it includes a Ryzen 7 7700X CPU, MSI B650 Gaming Plus WiFi motherboard, 32GB T-Force DDR5 RAM, a Kingston Fury Renegade 1TB SSD, and a Deepcool 750D Gold Rated PSU. I've tried reseating the GPU and the cables, checked and updated the BIOS, tested different DisplayPort and HDMI cables, and even booted using integrated graphics — but the GPU doesn't show up until it randomly "wakes up" after several tries. The GPU's RGB lights turn on, but I get no post signal until it decides to cooperate after about 10 to 15 minutes. Has anyone dealt with this issue before? Is it a faulty GPU, maybe something wrong with the motherboard, or a BIOS problem? Should I consider RMAing the card already? I'd appreciate any insights!

It sounds like there could be a conflict with the GPU somewhere in your setup, but I'm not sure what exactly it could be. Have you checked your BIOS settings thoroughly? Sometimes, settings like the PCIe mode can be finicky.
It might be worth trying to clean your GPU and its ports with a specialized electronic contact cleaner. Also, make sure you have the latest motherboard BIOS version installed. Some users had success with repasting their GPU if they think there could be thermal issues, but if your temps are good, that may not be necessary. Give that a shot!
I tried similar cleaning, but it didn’t help much. I think the GPU just struggles to initialize after being powered off for some time.
Yeah, I've noticed that too! It seems like some hardware just fights with each other at boot.
