Why Is My RTX 5060 Only Getting 60-70 FPS in Red Dead Redemption 2?

I've recently purchased an RTX 5060 and I'm running it with an i5 13400f and 16GB of 2666MHz RAM. While playing Red Dead Redemption 2, I'm experiencing frame rates between 60-70 FPS, with drops down to 55 at times. I've seen test videos where they get 100-110 FPS. Is there something wrong with my setup, or could it be another issue? I'm gaming at 1080p on ultra settings and would love any advice to improve performance.

Your current RAM speed is a bit on the slower side. For a new GPU like the 5060, consider upgrading your motherboard and RAM to leverage the full potential. A faster RAM could lead to better performance in games.

Do you really think changing the motherboard will make a big difference?

First things first, check your display cable connection. If it's plugged into the motherboard instead of the GPU, you won’t get the best performance. Make sure it's connected to the GPU!

It's connected to the GPU, so that's not the issue.
