Hey everyone! I recently built a new PC just under two weeks ago after a long break of over five years and have built systems for friends during that time. Lately, I've been experiencing random game crashes across different titles like Destiny, Call of Duty, and the Battlefield 6 Beta. The crashes aren't consistent, and my system's performance seems normal. I've run multiple stress tests and used OCCT, reseated all components, and ensured that my drivers, BIOS, and firmware are completely up to date. I've even tried three different NVIDIA drivers using DDU, reinstalled Windows, and moved my game installations around different storage drives. I've also adjusted RAM settings in the BIOS. Currently, I'm playing mostly at 1080p since I haven't upgraded my monitor yet, but I've tried stress testing the GPU at higher resolutions.
Last night, I ran some memory diagnostics, and one of them flagged potential hardware issues with my RAM (both with and without EXPO Tweaked enabled), but none of the stress tests indicated any problems. I'm not entirely sure if a RAM issue could be messing with my GPU, so I'm open to any suggestions you might have. Thanks a lot!

It sounds like the NVIDIA drivers might be your culprit. They've had a bit of a rough patch over the past year. Maybe rolling back to an earlier version could help?
Make sure you've got the latest drivers for your RTX 5080. If that doesn't solve it, consider doing a clean reinstall of Windows and stripping it down of any extra stuff. Sometimes a fresh start helps with these random crashes!
I actually just wiped everything and did a fresh Windows install, but the crashes are still there. I thought that might work!

I did try a few different drivers, but I’ll take another look to see if I can find an older one that works better.
