Why is my Ryzen 9 5900XT idling at 90°C?

Hey everyone, I recently upgraded my setup from a Ryzen 7 3700X to a Ryzen 9 5900XT that I got during Amazon's Prime Day. Since the upgrade, I've noticed my GPU is idling at a concerning 90°C, which makes me hesitant to run any games at all.

My setup includes a Cooler Master NR200P MAX case and I'm using an Arctic Liquid Freezer III 280 AIO with Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut paste. Despite installing it twice—including a reinstallation due to a cracked backplate on my CPU cooler—I'm still facing this high idle temperature, even after undervolting.

Here are my specs:
- Case: Cooler Master NR200P MAX
- Motherboard: Asrock X570 Phantom Gaming ITX-TB3
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900XT with Thermal Grizzly Kryosheet
- Cooler: Arctic Liquid Freezer III 280 (1x Noctua PPC, 1x supplied fan)
- RAM: G.Skill Trident Z Neo Royal 2x32GB at 3600MHz
- GPU: MSI RTX 4080 Gaming X Trio
- PSU: Cooler Master V850 SFX
- Drives: 1x Samsung 970 EVO, 1x Team Group SSD
- Case Fans: 2x Noctua NF-A12

I can't understand why the idle temp is so high, and I'm starting to worry that I might have made a mistake choosing the 5900XT for an SFF build. I know that with some Thermal Grizzly products, you may need to re-tighten the mounting pressure, but this seems excessive. Any ideas on what I might be missing?

First things first, make sure that the pump and radiator fans are properly connected and running. Also, check that there’s no plastic film left on the contact plate of the AIO cooler. If there isn’t enough thermal paste applied, or if the cooler isn’t mounted tight against the CPU, that could lead to these high temps too.

I’ve double-checked the connections and everything seems to be working. The Kryosheet covered the entire IHS, and I'm confused about why I still see those high temps. I think I might need even more mounting pressure, but I'm hesitant to over-tighten and risk stripping the screws.
