I just got a new PC today to replace my old one, which was about 8 years old. My old PC used to download games at nearly 300MB/s, but this new one is only hitting around 150MB/s. I know the new system has the potential to perform better. I've noticed that Steam is using less than 1% of both my disk and network resources. Is there a way to adjust something to force it to use more? Here are my specs: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT 16GB, 32GB of RAM, and about 1.5TB of free space.

I didn’t think about drivers either! I’ve also heard that sometimes new hardware can have compatibility issues with older drivers, so definitely worth checking. How's your connection set up? If you're on Wi-Fi, maybe try a cable connection to improve speed.
Have you checked if your chipset and network drivers are up to date? Also, it's worth mentioning that using a wired connection instead of Wi-Fi usually helps with download speeds. If you haven't, it might be a good idea to install those drivers to see if it makes a difference.
