I've owned my tablet for about 2-3 years, and recently I noticed that when I went to bed with it at around 70% battery, I woke up to find only 35% left. I checked for any apps running in the background, and battery saver was activated, but nothing seemed to be using extra power. I've done some tests and noticed that once it hits about 40% battery, it drops quickly. It's a budget tablet by US standards, but it's reasonably priced where I live. Any advice?

What kind of tablet do you have? Sometimes specific models can have known battery issues after a couple of years. It could also just be that the battery is aging and isn’t holding its charge like it used to.
Sounds like it might be time to look into a battery replacement. Cheap tablets sometimes don't have the best batteries. Does it offer a battery calibration option? That can sometimes help with issues like this.
