Hey everyone, I have a system with an Intel Ultra 5 245K processor and an RTX 5070 graphics card, and I'm running it on a 1500VA UPS. I've noticed it keeps beeping whenever I play games on high graphics settings. It's surprising because even older games like Resident Evil 7: Biohazard make it beep too. Lowering the graphics helps sometimes, but it still beeps occasionally. Can anyone help me figure out what's going on and how to fix this?

It sounds like you're draining the UPS battery faster than it can recharge. You might consider getting a larger UPS that can handle your power needs better, or maybe run your PC directly from the wall.
Make sure you're checking if there's any indication on your UPS itself. Do you have it connected via USB? If so, installing UPS monitoring software might help you keep track of what's going on.
The beeping from your UPS is likely an overcurrent warning. If you have a 1500VA/900W UPS, it might beep when you're drawing close to that limit. Check if your total power draw, including everything connected, is too high. You might want to unplug some devices to see if the beeping stops.

I don't have monitoring software. I just found out my UPS is from Secure, and there are rumors that it's not truly 1500VA. Should I think about getting a different UPS?
