Why Is My VGA Light On Even Though I Have Display?

I just built a new PC, and I'm seeing a red VGA light on my motherboard, but I'm still getting a display. I'm connecting my old monitor using an HDMI cable. Could the VGA light issue be due to not having updated drivers yet? I checked, and my graphics card seems to be properly seated, and all the connections look good. Here's a link to my build for reference: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/tTCPpK.

First off, make sure the HDMI cable is plugged into the graphics card’s HDMI port. Sometimes it accidentally gets connected to the motherboard instead. Just a simple oversight that happens!

I checked and it's in the GPU HDMI slot, but I guess I panicked a bit and wasn't sure!

It's possible that your GPU could be faulty, especially if everything else in the system is running fine. Since you're still getting a display, it might not be an issue, but it's worth considering. Double-check your power connections to the GPU too!

Yeah, all the fans are working and I can see the display. It's just weird that red light is still on!
