Why is my WiFi speed stuck at 100mbps?

I just installed the Aorus B650 Elite AX motherboard, but I'm only getting download speeds around 11mbps. My previous motherboard was getting over 100mbps without any issues. I've already downloaded the necessary drivers, but nothing seems to change. Can anyone help me troubleshoot this?

If you're on a wired connection and still seeing low speeds, try checking your Ethernet cable. The type of cable (like Cat5 vs. Cat6) matters a lot and can affect speeds. Also, make sure your router settings aren't limiting the speed based on QoS (Quality of Service) configurations. It might be worth resetting your router and seeing if that makes a difference.

First off, check that all your antennas are correctly attached to the motherboard and placed properly. It's surprisingly common for users to overlook this. Ensure they are secured and aimed for optimal signal. Also, make sure your connection settings are configured correctly—sometimes it defaults to lower speeds if the setup isn’t right.

I'm actually connected via a wired connection, so does that still apply?
