I've had my Xbox One for over eight years now, and it's been great overall. However, recently, it's started running really slow over the past week or two. I've tried resetting the network, deleting old games, and even the classic unplugging and plugging back in routine, but nothing seems to work. I mainly use it for casual games and a few streaming apps, so I really want to avoid spending a lot of money on a new console. If anyone has any tips or ideas on how to speed it up, I'd really appreciate it! Also, I'm not a frequent poster, so sorry if I messed up the format or tags.

One possibility is that your Xbox might be overheating and downclocking itself to protect its components. I recommend checking out some disassembly guides to clean out any dust buildup, especially after so many years. It could make a noticeable difference!
I appreciate the tip! Do you think it's hard to take apart and reassemble? I’d hate to make it worse trying to clean it.
