Why is one of my RAM sticks not being recognized in my new PC?

I recently built a new computer that was working fine for about a week, but now it's only detecting 32GB out of my 64GB RAM. I've checked that both sticks are properly seated in slots A2 and B2. Is it likely that I have a faulty stick? I can add some pictures in the comments if needed. Just to note, I tried reseating the RAM and clearing the CMOS, which seemed to fix the issue initially, but it has happened again. What could be causing this?

I've had a similar issue before! I suggest trying to reseat the RAM sticks and, if that doesn't help, resetting the CMOS. That really worked for me when I faced the same problem.

That seems to have done the trick, thank you!

I had the same issue with my setup a couple of weeks after building a new PC. It's weird but reseating helped!

If reseating doesn't solve it, you might want to swap the RAM sticks and try them in different slots. Also, consider resetting your overclocking settings to see if that makes a difference.
