Hey everyone! I accidentally dropped my phone this morning, even though it was in a case, and now there's a hairline crack across the top right of the screen, right over the camera. I'm trying to get it fixed at the Genius Bar, but I noticed that the price estimate for the repair is showing $329. Since I have AppleCare One, which covers accidental damage, I'm confused. Does that mean I'll have to pay the $329 fee in addition to my AppleCare subscription? Or is the price estimate just incorrect?

Make sure to check your device settings! Go to Settings > General > About. If it shows that you have AppleCare+ for your device, then you'll only pay $29 for display damage. If it only says 'limited warranty,' then your accidental damage won't be covered, and you'd be looking at that $329 fee. A lot of people assume their current phone is covered without checking.
That $329 is what you'd pay if you didn't have AppleCare. They usually charge that standard fee after inspecting your phone, so it’s important to check your AppleCare status before going in.
