Hey everyone! I'm having a frustrating issue where YouTube keeps buffering when I try to watch videos in 2K or 4K resolution. It's kinda baffling because I've got a 1000 Mbit internet connection and I'm using a wired cable. I didn't have this problem on my previous laptop, but it seems like my newly built PC is struggling with this. Any ideas on what might be causing it? I'd really appreciate your help!

Make sure to run a speed test to confirm you're actually getting the speeds you're paying for. Also, check that your HDMI cable is plugged into the GPU instead of the motherboard, just in case!
What browser are you using? I’ve heard Google has been intentionally slowing down YouTube on Firefox lately.
I'm on Microsoft Edge, by the way! 🙂
I get what you're saying, but I know the basics, and everything seems fine on my end. The speeds were measured at about 980, so it’s not the usual suspects.
