I used CrystalDiskMark a couple of years ago on my laptop without any issues, and it showed me the drive speeds after running tests. Now, after several Windows reinstalls, I tried testing a new external drive, but all the metrics are showing "0" as if the tests never occurred. Even for my Windows boot drive, which previously worked with CrystalDiskMark, I'm getting "0" speeds. What could be causing this problem?

I heard there's been issues with certain versions of CrystalDiskMark after updates; what version are you using? If it's outdated, try downloading the latest one and see if that resolves the speed readings.
