I recently transferred my GPU from an old motherboard to a new one, but during the process, the clip that holds it in place broke off. Now, I'm having trouble with my new setup because the screen isn't showing any signal. Could this issue be related to what happened with the GPU? I'm a bit stuck here and could really use some advice.

Usually, transferring a GPU shouldn't cause any problems. However, you should double-check the connection at the bottom of the GPU where it slots in. Also, make sure your video cable is connected to the GPU and not the motherboard itself!
It sounds like you might have a connection issue. When I moved my GPU, I didn't notice a click either, but I realized it wasn't seated right. If the fans are spinning and lights are on, that's a good sign, but check if the GPU is fully clicked in. Also, I noticed some orange lights on the motherboard—those can indicate issues. Check your manual to see what that means!
If you see an orange light related to DRAM, that could signal a different issue entirely. It might be worth reseating your RAM too. Sometimes, issues in one component can affect the others, especially after a big move like this.
