I have an R5 7500F CPU paired with an RTX 4070 GPU and 32GB of DDR5 6000 MHz RAM. I'm playing at 1080p resolution and using Cyberpunk 2077 as an example. I notice that my GPU utilization is only between 75-85%, while my CPU usage is consistently above 70%. Given that the 7500F should be sufficient for a 4070, especially at 1080p, I'm puzzled as to why there seems to be such a bottleneck in performance.

Honestly, I think the resolution is where your issue lies. At 1080p, the GPU often doesn't get pushed to its limits because the CPU takes on more of the workload. Try cranking up the resolution and see if your GPU usage increases.
You might want to consider that ray tracing can be quite demanding on your CPU. Have you tried turning off ray tracing to see if there's any difference in GPU utilization?
It sounds like your CPU isn't holding back your GPU in every case. Lowering the resolution to 1440p might boost GPU usage but that doesn’t necessarily mean it will give you more frames. Just make sure your RAM is configured correctly and that your CPU is performing optimally. Check for things like EXPO/XMP settings in your BIOS.

I tried that, but the GPU usage didn't change much. I still see only 60% utilization while my CPU is around 53% in Kingdom Come 1.
