Why isn’t my graphics card being detected?

I recently got a prebuilt PC (I know it's usually not the best choice, but it was more affordable!), and I'm having trouble with my graphics card not being detected at all. It's not showing up in the BIOS, device manager, or task manager. Because of this, I can't install any Nvidia drivers or even the Nvidia app. Here's a quick rundown of my specs: I'm using a Ryzen 7 7800x3D CPU, a GIGABYTE b650m GAMING PLUS WIFI motherboard, and a PALIT GAMING PRO RTX 5080 GPU. I don't think the RAM is the problem since I can get a display through the motherboard's HDMI port.

Have you tried plugging the display directly into the GPU? Also, make sure the power connector is properly secured. If it still won't boot with any image, you might have a seating problem. Try pushing the card in and making sure it's snug in the PCIe slot. If it’s still not working after reseating, it could be time to contact your builder’s support.

I’ve tried connecting the display to the GPU, but still no luck. I’ve even taken it out and reseated it about five times now! I emailed my builder, but they’re only available from 9 to 5, so I'm still waiting for a response.
