Why isn’t my motherboard detecting my M.2 SSD?

Hey everyone! I'm in a bit of a pickle here. I've got a Soyo B760M D4 WIFI motherboard, and it's not detecting my M.2 SSD at all. The SSD worked perfectly on my previous MSI B660 CEC V2 setup, so I'm wondering if it's a problem with the new motherboard. I really need to get this sorted out since using an HDD for my OS is driving me crazy. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Are you sure which type of M.2 SSD you have? Is it SATA or NVMe? That could affect compatibility with your motherboard.

Since you mentioned that it's a SATA M.2, you might want to check if your motherboard has specific slots designated for SATA SSDs. Sometimes, not all M.2 slots support both types.
