I recently purchased a 1TB Sandisk Extreme microSD card from Amazon, but it doesn't appear when I insert it into my card reader and connect it to my PC. Interestingly, I have another microSD card of the same brand (256GB) that works perfectly. I'm wondering if the new card is defective or if my card reader doesn't support the 1TB capacity. For reference, I'm using a USB 2.0 card reader that I found on Amazon.

It sounds like it could be a formatting issue. If the card is recognized in Disk Management but doesn’t have a file system, you might need to format it. Just make sure to back up any important data first, since formatting will erase everything!
You might want to check Disk Management in Windows. Here’s how: press `Win + X` and select `Disk Management`. Look to see if the microSD card appears as an unallocated drive or without a drive letter. If that's the case, you can right-click on it to either create a new simple volume or assign it a drive letter. That might solve the issue!
