Why isn’t my new NVMe SSD showing up in BIOS after Windows installation?

I recently built a new PC and encountered an issue during the installation of Windows. The Windows installer recognizes my NVMe SSD, but for some reason, it doesn't show up in the BIOS. Although I think Windows completed the installation correctly, I can't boot from the SSD because the BIOS simply does not detect it. I installed the SSD in one of the bottom M.2 slots since the first two didn't have standoffs available. My motherboard is an Asus TUF Gaming Z790-Plus, and the SSD is an ORICO 1TB M.2 NVMe (PCIe Gen3 x4).

It sounds like you might be using a non-standard slot for your SSD, which can sometimes lead to issues like this. The BIOS may not recognize drives that are installed in those slots without the proper drivers. I'd recommend that you get a standoff screw for your motherboard and try installing the SSD in the recommended M.2 port.

Where can I find those standoff screws? I need some for my motherboard too.
