Why Isn’t My PC Performing Like I Expected?

I recently built a PC, and it's not quite meeting my expectations in terms of performance. I ran some benchmark tests with UserBenchmark and 3D Mark (Steel Nomad and Fire Strike), but the scores I got are much lower than I anticipated given my parts. Here's what I've got:
- Intel Core i7-13700K 3.4 GHz 16-Core Processor
- NZXT Kraken X72 Liquid CPU Cooler
- MSI MAG B760 TOMAHAWK WIFI DDR4 ATX LGA1700 Motherboard
- Patriot Viper Steel 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3600 CL18 Memory
- MSI RTX 3060 Ventus 3X 12G OC GeForce RTX 3060 12GB Video Card
- SeaSonic FOCUS GX 750 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply
- MSI Optix G27C5 27.0" 1920 x 1080 165 Hz Curved Monitor
- 2 Predator M.2 SSD GM7000 1 TB
- 1 ST1000DM010-2EP102
- 1 ST3000DM007-1WY10G

My Firestrike score was 21181 and Steel Nomad was 2034, which seem underwhelming. I'm unsure if I'm dealing with maintenance issues or if I might be misinterpreting the benchmark results. Any insights or advice for getting better performance would be greatly appreciated!

Yeah, definitely take benchmarks with a grain of salt, especially UserBenchmark. They often don't reflect real-world performance. How’s your rig handling actual games? For instance, I suggest running tests with Red Dead Redemption 2 or Cyberpunk 2077 to see the real FPS you're getting.

Instead of relying solely on benchmarks like UserBenchmark, it's a good idea to test out your PC with real games. Check out gameplay videos or benchmarks on YouTube for your specific GPU and CPU combo to see the sort of performance others are getting. Keep in mind that the RTX 3060 is a lower-end GPU that's a few years old, which could be impacting your expectations.

I ran the RDR2 benchmark and my metrics came out as follows: Min FPS: 14.6, Avg FPS: 76.4, Max FPS: 149.7. However, I still experience stuttering in titles like No More Room in Hell 2 and Control. You might want to check your drivers and make sure everything is optimized for gaming.
