Why isn’t my PC recognizing the SSD and going straight to BIOS?

I'm having an issue where my PC doesn't seem to recognize the SSD at all when I boot it up. I see the Gigabyte logo, but then it just takes me straight to the BIOS settings. I really could use some help figuring this out. I've had the PC for about a year, and I'm not sure what to check to see if the SSD is connected properly or even if it's showing up in BIOS. Any advice would be appreciated!

You might want to ensure that your SSD is set as the boot priority in the BIOS. If it’s not there, it suggests something may be wrong with the drive. Also, if you don’t have Windows already installed on it, you could use a USB stick with a Windows installation to get everything running. Once you've done that, make sure to switch the boot priority back to the SSD after the installation.

Can you walk me through the installation process? I’m not sure how to set the boot priority.

It sounds like your SSD might not be detected by the BIOS. First, check if the drive is properly connected. If it was working before, it could be failing or just loose. In the BIOS, there should be a section where you can see connected drives—if the SSD doesn't show up there, it could be an issue with the drive itself.
