Why Isn’t My Seagate 3TB Hard Drive Being Detected After Encryption?

I have a Seagate 3TB hard drive that I previously encrypted using BitLocker on my main PC. I decided to repurpose it as an external drive, but now it's not being detected at all. Can anyone shed some light on what might be going wrong?

Are you sure it's not showing up in Windows Explorer or even in Disk Management? Sometimes drives might not show in the usual places. You might want to check there to see if it's recognized at all.

Another thing to consider is whether the drive is properly connected. Double-check the USB connection or try using a different port. Occasionally, the issue can be as simple as a loose connection!
