I received a pair of AirPod Pros as a gift and have been having a frustrating issue. They connect to my device, but they won't switch the audio output from the speaker. I've tried adjusting the output settings, but it just defaults back to the speaker as soon as I exit the menu. I've only managed to get them to work a couple of times, but as soon as I put both AirPods back in the case, they stop working again. My mom even exchanged them for a new pair, but I'm facing the same problem. I've already forgotten the device multiple times and restarted my phone, and I feel like I've tried everything. Oh, and I've disabled automatic ear detection, just in case that was causing issues.

Are you using your AirPods with an iPhone, iPad, or Mac? If not, and you're connecting them to a non-Apple product, that might be part of the problem. Just checking in case there's a compatibility issue!
