I'm having trouble with my Asus Prime Z270-A motherboard. Every time I enable virtualization (TTP) and TPM2, along with HVCI in the BIOS settings, everything seems fine until I shut down my PC. When I turn it back on, I have to re-enable these settings every time. I even tried replacing the CMOS battery, but it didn't solve the issue. What could I be missing?

It’s not uncommon for older motherboards to have these kinds of issues, especially if it’s a few years old. I suggest you try disconnecting everything from the board and booting it with just the essentials to see if it helps. Take it out of the case and check if there’s any short. After making your changes, restart and see if the BIOS retains your settings.
It sounds like you've done some good troubleshooting already by swapping out the battery. You might want to check if you have the latest BIOS version. The last update was in 2018, so make sure you're on that. Here's the link to the BIOS updates for your board: [ASUS BIOS Update](https://www.asus.com/supportonly/prime%20z270-a/helpdesk_bios/). It might fix the issue if you haven't updated yet.
